Senkyoro’s Famous Ceramicart Classes
When you’re absorbed in your creation, time seems to melt away. Enjoy a peaceful moment as you experience this traditional Japanese artform. Our experienced instructors will guide you to create a one-of-a-kind memory of your trip.
Offered: Every day except Thursdays.
Instructor: Shinji Tsuchida Fees: 4,400 yen per day (tax included) (Covers studio fee, class fee, and materials.)
*The rate is 5,500 yen per day for non-guests.
*Participants will create one bowl or small jar, plus one small plate or teacup.
You can create more pieces for an additional fee.
*During the class, you’ll shape the clay into each piece.
After your stay, our staff will spend 2 to 3 months firing and finishing your pieces before mailing them to your home.
